Calgary realtor to showcase passion for elevating client experience in TV reality series

Calgary realtor Kaitlyn Gottlieb has a passion for real estate and is striving to elevate the client experience through the MLS transaction by putting the focus back on the client.

And she is hoping she can highlight that passion in a new TV reality series pitting realtors against each other in an effort to gain a client’s home listing.

“I want to focus on offering an elevated real estate experience for clients at every price point,” says Gottlieb, of Century 21 Bamber. “My excitement for the show comes from the opportunity to showcase the city I was born and raised in and I think this is a great way to show people that maybe haven’t bought or sold a property how the process actually works.

“I am dedicated to helping my clients achieve their unique real estate goals and am committed to ensuring open communication with straightforward advice. I remain the point of contact from when the seller hands me the keys to list the property, right through to when we release the keys to the new buyer.”

Gottlieb and four other Calgary realtors will be featured in the Seller’s Market Calgary TV show, produced by Kelowna-based Visland Media. The show puts homeowners in the driver’s seat as top realtors compete for their listing. Besides Gottlieb, the other Calgary realtors on the show are Darren Langille, of Red Line Real Estate; Emmeline Noblet, of Real Estate Professionals Inc.; Larry Normandeau, of RE/MAX Landan Real Estate; and Mark Calvelo, of RE/MAX Complete Realty.

In each of the 13 episodes, the five realtors will pitch themselves to homeowners to gain the right to list their properties on the market. At the end of the program, a segment will show what ended up happening with the listing.

The show begins filming in September and is set to air in the spring of 2018. It’s still to be determined what television station the show will air.

Gottlieb, a realtor for seven years in Calgary, prides herself in being focused on the client, providing luxury service for every home at every price point. She bases her business model on strategic marketing and “improving and innovating client experience while showcasing homes in their absolute best light by offering unique services to her clients.”

“The thing I like about the show is that it’s reality based,” says Gottlieb. “It has a focus on the seller and is meant to showcase what it’s like for people living in Calgary; what the market’s like right now, the surprising challenges and some of the ultimate benefits. Our Calgary market is very different than Vancouver or Toronto, so I was excited to be chosen for a show that’s right here in my home town and showcases our local market.

“I feel one of my biggest strengths in this industry is my focus on marketing; a lot of people talk about marketing but what they’re really referring to is advertising. I incorporate both. Marketing has always been something I’m passionate about. I’ve studied it in school, I continue to study it now in my spare time. It’s an ever-evolving craft but I love it.

“I work for my clients, I invest in them. My handshake is my bond. Clients are happy when you get the job done; I measure my success on the satisfaction of my clients.”
